A Fair to Remember

This past weekend Iain, Geoff, and I went to the Latah county fair. We actually split it up over a couple of days. Iain and I went on Friday and checked out some of the exhibits and then on Saturday all three of us went.

You would think from the picture that Iain really liked the gigantic pumpkins, but you would be mistaken. He was really more interested in the tags and ribbons attached to the pumpkins.

He took his time sizing up the sheep.
He loved watching the trains go around on the tracks.

We're not really sure what he made of the horse. He didn't really react to it very much. Hmm...maybe if it had had a tag on it like the pumpkins or moved around as much as the trains.

lol, well of course he was interested in the ribbons; he knew those big ol' pumpkins wouldn't fit in his mouth! I love his face in the sheep picture--classic! And the train picture is my go-ahead for spoiling him with Brio in the years to come. And in the last picture, he was probably just thinking, is that a dairy...horse??
