Iain's Weekend

Our little boy is busy and growing up. He's changed so much. Why just a year ago he only weighed 9 oz. and looked like this. Now he weighs closer to 17 or 18 pounds and is much cuter in our opinion.


On Friday we went to a woodturning show at the Prichard Gallery in Moscow. Iain considered the Andi Wolfe piece at left before deciding the Jacques Vesery piece might taste better. Don't worry, we didn't really let him touch it. We enjoyed seeing all the world-class art in the show.

This is one of Iain's basic cute poses. He was enjoying a nice relaxing Saturday morning in his pajamas. He's also showing off his two teeth. There's no sign he's cutting any more yet, but we're sure it won't be too much longer until more show up.

When we forget to feed Iain, things like this can happen. Kidding! He was lying on the floor when he noticed his tub of blocks. He simply had to play with them, which of course involved tasting each block.

It's autumn now, so we bought a pumpkin. Iain's first pumpkin, in fact. He grabbed hold of it and pondered it with his most serious look. Finally, he had his plan of attack. He rocked the pumpkin toward him, then stuck it in his mouth stem first. I prefer to eat my pumpkin in a pie.
