Quality
"Use it up, wear it out, make due, or do without." So was the wisdom of the pioneers in an era all too alien to us. "Buy a cheap one, trash it when it breaks, charge it, mortgage it, don't worry what it costs" might be the new American adage. Yes, let's all stand up and salute Sam Walton, Mr. "We Sell For Less." Just don't ask *what* they sell for less. I'm afraid it may be Chinese crap that they sell for less, and I for one say it's time to tell the emperor he's starkers! We must demand a *quality* product, even if we have to save a while to afford it. Let's hear it for Northfield, Kitchen Aid, and other American companies that still make a quality product here in America. For those of you who are curious about my bout of patriotic fervor, just look at the photo below. Iain's rubber-fricken duckie won't even float in a upright position!
