Water Baby

Iain's fascination with water has expanded now that the hot weather is here. He loves playing with the hose more than ever (but still not the sprinkler).

A few times we've let him have the hose all by himself and let him do the "pre-wash" for his bath.

Here he is at his first visit to the pool. He had played a few times in his wading pool in the back yard, but this seemed to hold his attention a lot longer. Unfortunately it was breezy that day, so we could only be in the water a few minutes at a time before Iain started shivering so badly that we had to go warm up. In fact, that's what he's doing in the picture: warming up and eating fruit snacks.

Oh yes, you might notice the scab on his nose and his black eye. He got that climbing in his stroller by himself and tipping the whole thing over. Thankfully it healed fast.
