Iain's check up went really well until Dr. Shupe's nurse, Jean, stuck him in the leg with three very big needles. But even that went a little bit better than last time.
Since his two month check up Iain has packed on just over three pounds. He now weighs 13 pounds 5 ounces. That's still a bit on the scrawny size for his age (just under the 25th percentile) but what do you expect with a dad built like Geoff. He's also grown 1 1/2 inches for a total height of 25 inches, which is pretty average for his age (50th percentile.)
Dr. Shupe said it was okay to start feeding Iain rice cereal if we wanted to, so tomorrow we'll be sure to pick some up when we go grocery shopping. Don't worry, we'll be sure to take pictures of his first solid food eating experience and post them for you to see.
