Iain Update

Well, we knew it was only a matter of time before Geoff was going to get Iain out in the workshop and start teaching him how to turn. Sunday afternoon the two of them ventured out there and Iain got a tour. He was excited because earlier in the day he had taken his first trip to the hardware store. We're sad to say that we forgot to take the camera with us to the store to document such a momentous occasion.

After Iain toured the workshop we took a walk around the neighborhood since we had such beautiful weather on Sunday. You can see in the picture above that Geoff has Iain in a carrier. I just want you to know what a wimp Geoff is. He started complaining about being tired and his back hurting after only 2 blocks. He definitely would not have survived being pregnant!

Iain's doing a lot better. He napped most of the day yesterday--something he's never done before. And he still slept really well between feedings at night. Here's a picture of him all snuggled up in his swing. He tends to squirm a bit in his sleep, don't you think!?

Yes, the tour of the workshop was bound to happen! We'll be in big trouble after the first wand he turns! I'm so glad he's doing so well with his naps! That's awesome that he sleeping during the day and still sleeping well between feedings at night! Squirming in his sleep? Whaddya mean--that's how all the cool kids are wearing their hats! ;)

I still bet Geoff would be complaining even if he did have 9 months to acclimatize.
