Idler's Rest

So, you may be wondering why our post about Idler's Rest begins with a picture of Geoff's shoes; however, if you look closely, you will notice that Geoff is not wearing just any ordinary shoes but super-nifty hiking shoes. His physical therapist told him he was old and that he needed cushier shoes than his combat boots. So he decided to have fun and get hiking shoes figuring he could get into way more trouble wearing them than he could wearing running shoes.
Aren't we cute? We especially like "the claw" shadow. (If we look pooped, it's because we are. We haven't been hiking in ages. But it was so pretty there with the evening sunlight.
Here's a view from the back side of Idler's rest looking toward Moscow. If you look closely you can see the Kibbie dome (or as Geoff would say--the ASUI Kibbie Activity Center).
We took this pine cone picture especially for Connor. We know how much he likes them.
On our way back we saw these two hanging out in a field by the road. We stopped to say hi and take their picture, but they didn't want to play.
