We're not dead!

Sorry it's been so long since our last post. Seems like life gets busy with the everyday stuff (you know, work, sleep, cleaning house, cleaning up after Geoff, etc.) and I lose track of how long it's been since you all had an update. Well, as you can tell, nothing exciting has been going on here.

Last week I inconveniently came down with a cold--missed three days of work and my sister's, Jennifer's, graduation. I didn't mind missing work so much, but I was really looking forward to going to Jen's graduation. I'm finally feeling human again for the first day today.

Don't worry, Geoff did manage to fend for himself while I was sick. Actually, he even made dinner the first night. (Don't get the wrong idea--it was eggs and toast, not lasagna or steak). But all in all, he did do a good job of taking care of me.

Now that I'm feeling better I hope not to fall so far behind on the blog. And thanks to everyone who has left comments; it's so fun to hear from you!

Glad to hear you're feeling better! It always seems odd to get a cold this late in the year, but I ended up getting some strain of the stomach flu back before Memorial Day.

I'm bummed that I missed Jen's graduation too. Kind of poor planning on my part ... didn't have any time to take off or I would have been there. But I guess we'll just have to make it up to her sometime soon. :)

Aww, sorry you were sick, but I'm glad you're feeling better now! Just think, they say there are about 230 different cold viruses out there, so this is just one fewer to have to worry about later! lol--ok, not much of a consolation, but at least you're feeling more alive than not now! Oh, and make that brother of mine cook dinner more often--it builds character! ;) (I'm gonna get in trouble for that one...heehee!)
