Our first rest stop just South of Riggins. Iain loves Oreo cookies, by the way.
The river at the rest stop was low enough that Iain and his auntie Jennifer were able to play a little and cool their feet in the water.
Iain had all sorts of fun exploring and playing in Weiser. He colored a bit with Grandma Susie, chased the dog and cats around the house, and in general had a good time.
When we went to a bbq at great-auntie Treca and great-uncle Ray's house Iain led Corey all around the yard looking at all the pinwheel flowers.
On our way home we stopped at a different rest stop. This one had a beach.
Iain liked going in the water--though not too far. He fell down once and got water clear up to his chin. After that he stuck to the shallower water.
He really liked playing in the sand though. It was a nice way to break up the drive home.
And once we got home, Iain even helped me with the unpacking.
