A couple of weeks ago we got busy putting the nursery together. We figured we had to have somewhere to put this kid come February. We're still not done yet, but we did make a lot of progress. We managed to paint the dresser, put the crib together (without any instructions--they were missing--but lots of help from Geoff's parents), and put together the rocking chair. We even filled 7 out of the 8 dresser drawers with baby clothes. Our biggest challenge isn't finding a place for everything that will go in the room, it's figuring out where to put everything that had to come out of the room (you know, all the stuff that you can't see because it's on the other side of the camera). We're slowly figuring it out and finding new homes for things. We're just keeping our fingers crossed that we'll get it all done by February, and that the exercise bike that we took out of the nursery won't stay in the living room permanently.

Oh yay!!! Nursery pictures! I especially like the picture of Geoff behind bars...mwa ha ha! It looks like things are coming together so nicely--what a cute nursery! And considering we didn't even *own* a crib until Connor was several months old, I'd say you're definitely keeping a good schedule on preparations! Don't forget, vertical storage space is your friend! (Haha, why do I suddenly see Geoff napping from a hammock hung 10 inches from the ceiling??)
